All Treos starting with the Treo 650 had built-in video camera software called (CamCorder) for taking and watching short movies. The Treo 650 and Treo 680 have a 0.3 megapixel camera while all others have a 1.3 megapixel camera.

Although the Treo 600 did not have the software, enterprising 3rd-party developers published applications such as MovieRec to allow the use of the camera as a camcorder.
