Unsaved Preferences

The Unsaved Preferences (Unsaved_Preferences.prc) database is a file where the PalmOS built-in and optionally 3rd-party applications save customization settings specific to that application. These are typically created and used only as temporary storage which the program is running. That is why it's not a big problem is the file is corrupted and the data is lost. Applications will simply recreate what they need the next time they run.
