TreoCentral was originally VisorCentral, which was started in 1999 in anticipation for Handspring's Visor. TreoCentral was birthed when Handspring announced their plans to produce solely Treos and discontinue the Visor.
The website is the dominant Treo community on the web with reviews, commentary, a lively discussion board and a store selling Treos and Treo-related items. The site also has a mobile version.
It is owned by Smartphone Experts. Founder and Editor-in-Chief is Marcus Adolfsson. Managing Editor is Harv Laser, Editor is Michael Ducker, and Community Editor is Dieter Bohn.
