How to get online with T-Mobile USA
If you subscribe to the optional T-Mobile Total Internet service, you just need to select T-Mobile internet in the preference.If you have the optional T-MobileWeb service, you must access the internet via proxy.
In the preference screen, select T-Mobile T-Zone first. Go to Blazer (the Palm "Web" application), go to Preferences, Advanced, Set Proxy to 216.155.165.50 and port to 8080. T-Mobile's own instructions (see External Link section) say to use port 9201.

T-Mobile USA
T-Mobile USA has access to both a GPRS networks and higher speed EDGE networks. They offer three different internet plans.
- T-MobileWeb
- The basic internet plan. It was formerly named T-Zones. Designed mainly for WAP sites and email. In order for use on a Treo, a proxy must be used to surf the web. Certain programs that use ports other than the open ones will not work unless they are also configurable to use the proxy.

- Total Internet
- No port restrictions and you get access to T-Mobile's WIFI network.

- Blackberry Connect
- No port restrictions and support for blackberrys. No access to the WIFI network so price is less. Treos can also use this for unlimited internet since it is cheaper than the Total Internet plan.
