Access your non-Sprint email from VersaMail

You need 3 things from your email provider first: 1. user name; 2. password; and 3. incoming mail server. (for example, if you are using RoadRunner New York, the incoming mail server is pop-serve.nyc.rr.com)
Now you need your 4. Sprint email username and 5. Sprint email password. Go to your Sprint account, login, go to My Online Tools -> Sprint PCS Mail -> Setting and Preferences -> Setup. Here you can create your Sprint email password. If you don't know what your Sprint mail address is, you can dial ##3282# on the phone app and get the Sprint email, its usually your name plus a number @ sprintpcs.com.

Now you are ready to setup your mail program. Go to VersaMail then Account Setup. Enter your user name, password, and incoming mail server. For the outgoing mail server, put in smtp.sprintpcs.com, go to advance, select Use authentication (ESMTP) and then put in your Sprint email (including the @sprintpcs.com) and Sprint email password. Now you're all set.
