There are several types of memory that come into play when taken in the context of the Treo.

• The Treo has built-in RAM
  • Non-volatile memory is the sort of memory found in the Treo 650, 700p, and 700w
  • Volatile memory is found in the Treo 600, 300, 270, and 18
• The Treo 700w distinguishes between Program memory and Storage Memory. The Treo 650 and 700p does as well, actually, but this is typically hidden from the user.
• Treos also have an SD card slot that can accept memory expansion cards.
