PalmOS

  • General
    • Option + Left Shift = Find
    • Option + Menu = Toggle bright/dim (for 700p)
      • Option + Right Shift for 650
    • Option + p = Adjust brightness
    • Option + Enter = Back to a parent screen. (IE: Done or OK button)
    • Shift + Space = Tab
    • Shift + Backspace: delete last word (built in applications)
    • s + Alt + Alt + Alt + Alt + Space = Graffiti shortcut symbol
    • Menu + c - Copy selected text to clipboard
    • Menu + p - Paste selected text from clipboard
    • Page up/down -> in some applicaiton, Alt-Up and Alt-down work as a page up and down button.
  • Launcher
    • Option + Up/Down = Scroll (in some apps, notably the Launcher)
    • Typing multiple letters to get to an application is supported (e.g. to get to Prefs, you can type "PR" or "PRE").
  • Blazer
    • Backspace = Blazer previous webpage
    • Enter = Blazer "forward" in webpage history
    • n = Blazer Go forward one page
    • Menu + v = Blazer bookmarks
    • Menu + v + v = Blazer Goto website (Technically typing ANY character from the Blazer bookmarks page opens the "go to" dialog box. I list this particular key combination because it's the simplest to type.)
    • Space + Select = Stop loading page (Assuming the Treo is redrawing or loading a web page)
    • By pressing the spacebar, you can quickly shift focus to the navigation bar of Blazer. This works even while the page is loading.
  • Calendar
    • Option (hold) left/right - In the daily view moves forward or backward one week at a time.
  • Phone call: Treo 600 and Treo 650
    • Spacebar --> toggles speakerphone
    • Backspace --> hangup
    • Period --> hold
    • Return --> Dialpad
    • Return+Return -> Show your own number
    • Phone Button --> Toggle Dialpad
