How do I mute the Treo when it rings

There are several ways to quickly stop a Treo from ringing if it's inconvenient to have it ring.

A: All Treos

  • You can flip the Ringer switch to silent mode.
  • You can hit one of the Volume buttons
  • You can answer the phone (though this is likely not an ideal solution).
  • You can tap the Ignore button on screen, sending the caller to voicemail

On more recent Treos, specifically the Treo 650, Treo 700p, and Treo 700w/wx there is a red power button on the front that you can press to ignore the call completely, sending the caller straight to Voicemail
