Contacts
From TreoCentral
PalmOS
The PalmOS Contacts application has been one of the fundamental PIM applications since the early days of Palm and has grown in functionality since then. It's primary purpose has always been to help you manage information about the people and businesses you know. It supports fields such as title, first/given name, last name/surname, multiple phone numbers and email addresses, multiple addresses (work, home, other), birthdates and anniversaries. Recent versions of the Contacts application now support multiple IM names as well. Like the other PIM apps (Calendar, Memos and Tasks), you can categorize them into one of 16 groups you define, send them or others by email or even beam then via the IR port or Bluetooth.
Caller picture ID was first introduced with the Treo 600 but the picture was associated with a Favorites entry. Starting with the Treo 650 both picture ID and personal ringtone assignments were moved into the Contacts database to allow for customization for more of your contacts than Favorites would allow.
Windows Mobile
For Windows Mobile, the contacts are managed through Pocket Outlook.
