Blinking star

When you've snoozed or missed a Calendar event or SMS, a blinking star or a golden bell (on the Treo 700p) may appear as a visual / silent reminder of that item. Just tap it and a screen will appear listing the items. From here you can clear the reminders if you wish. This is also sometimes called a snowflake.

This has been a feature since PalmOS 4.x but is unfamiliar to those who've upgraded from the Treo 300, Treo 270, Treo 180, Treo 180g or Visors.
