Different Treos use different batteries. Before the release of the Treo 650, all Treos had non-removable batteries. Due to what was likely consumer demand, Palm began using user-replaceable batteries in all their models from the Treo 650 onward. To-date, all of these newer Treos use the same battery.

Treo 600

The Treo 600 uses a 1800 mAh rechargeable lithium ion battery. The battery is integrated into the device and is therefore not removable.

However PdaParts.com does sell a do-it-yourself 2000 mAh battery upgrade that claims to provide a 25% improvement to battery life. Doing this upgrade will void your warrenty.

A simpler way to extend the Treos battery life is through the use of an external clip-on battery pack made by PalmOne.

Treo 650, 700p, 700w

More recent Treos, such as the Treo 650,Treo 700p, and Treo 700w/wx have a removable Lithium Ion Battery. Most units use a Palm 3.7 volt 1800 mAh battery.

Treo 680

The Treo 680 uses a smaller removable Lithium Ion 3.7 volt 1200 mAh battery.

Treo 750v and 750

Both the Treo 750v and the Treo 750 use a removable Lithium Ion 3.7 volt 1200 mAh battery.

Treo 755p

The Treo [755p] uses a 1600 mAh removable Lithium Ion battery.
